FUE Hair transplant clinic with excellent results for hair restoration

At a certain point, many people are prone to suffer from alopecia or as it is popularly called, hair loss. This is a highly unaesthetic problem since our hair, is one of the most important and valuable physical assets and its loss might cause serious self-confidence issues. However, Renew Skin & Health Clinic provides you with various solutions against hair loss according to your skin and hair type and you can benefit from visible results in a short period of time after undergoing our treatments.
Our specialists can provide you with a professional surgical hair transplant which will restore the healthy aspect of your scalp and hair. Renew Skin & Health Clinic boasts itself with two efficient hair transplant procedures: the FUT procedure or Follicular Unit Transplantation and the FUE procedure or Follicular Unit Extraction. Both procedures have proven to be successful in the case of our patients and have provided them with visible results in a short period of time.
Although both surgical hair transplant procedures imply the placement of hair implants into minuscule “pockets” created by the surgeon in the balding area, there are some differences in the method employed for the follicular unit collection.
With FUE harvesting, individual follicular units usually located at the back of the patient’s head, or the donor area, are extracted and then transplanted to the areas of the scalp which present total or partial hair loss. The naturally occurring follicular units, which are groups of 1 to 4 strands of hair are thus extracted from the donor and placed onto the patient’s balding scalp to obtain the best aesthetic result with minimal scarring.
On the other hand, the FUT procedure implies strip harvesting, unlike the FUE procedure which implies the individual harvesting of each follicular unit. This means that an entire hair graft is surgically removed from the donor using the modern technique of stereo-microscopic dissection to make sure that the follicular units are not damaged and then these are transplanted to the patient’s balding area. Being a simpler procedure, it is done faster and moreover, since the follicular units remain enveloped in their original skin tissue, the survival rate of each unit once transplanted to the patient increases.
Minimal, linear scarring is possible in the case of the FUT surgical hair transplant procedure, but if the patient grows his hair to a normal length, these scars will be efficiently concealed. Moreover, as aforementioned there are some differences between the two procedures, both of them present advantages, as well as disadvantages and this is why it is important to benefit from a specialized consultation prior to undergoing any surgical hair transplant procedure. Our cosmetic specialists at Renew Skin & Health Clinic can offer you a professional consultation and check your medical history in order to recommend you the best course of action that best suits your individual case.
